Our Seminar Series begins in March and concludes in August. Seminars are hosted in both the Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids area. All seminars are free.  In many cases attendees to our seminars earn continuing education credits toward their PHR/SPHR/GPHR recertification.

March 2013 – Health Care Reform Compliance: Key Considerations for 2013 & 2014
Feeling overhelmed by the new guidance that is issued on what seems like a weekly basis?  Trying to identify the key compliance issues that might apply to you?  Struggling to get your arms around the requirements in 2014?  We can help!  Our Health Care Reform Compliance Seminar will address: “Play or Pay” Compliance Issues, 2014 Plan Compliance Issues, New Taxes and Fees in 2014.  Attendees will receive 2.75 credits toward PHR/GPHR/SPHR recertification.


May/June 2013 – Southeast Michigan Mid-Market Group Benefits Survey Results
We will share the results of our tenth annual Mid-Market Group Benefit Survey.  Trends to be discussed include: how Michigan employers intend to adapt to the requirements of Health Care Reform; how organizations are addressing Wellness; sharing cost control concepts; and more.  Attendees will receive their organization’s tailored Key Indicator Report.


August/September 2013 – Health Care Reform 2014
This seminar will center on evaluating decision points for 2014, the impact on cost and coverage, and a review of the challenges of “getting out”.  We will also provide compliance updates.
